FLIGHT OPERATIONS AND SAFETY.
Membership of the Rebel Flying Club Inc. requires all members to obey all Club Rules and points of safety as laid down in Club and National CAA guidelines.

Upon arrival place your radio in the transmitter compound. (The compound is the bench and shelf above this sign) Leave radio in compound when not in use. The bench is not a workbench for Aircraft and Helicopters.

Place frequency key in keyboard before turning on transmitter. Name and frequency must be on your key. (2.4 GHz key is not required.)

Do not work on your aircraft in car park do it in pit area and use the keyboard.

There is a 20-minute time limit on the use of any frequency.

Restraints must be used at all times, start your aircraft in the pit area facing the field (south) and using restraints.

Pilots are not to taxi their aircraft in the pit area. All engines off at the rear of the pilots box as indicated by the “witches hats”

9 meter Pilot to aircraft/helicopter distance as per MAAA rules applies at all times.

All pilots must stand in designated pilots box, indicated by the “witches hats”

All intentions of take off’s, landings and retrievals must be conveyed to other pilots on the flight line.

All flight take off and landing to be made from main runway and 30m out (this about half way between witches hats and far side of runway)

Do not fly over pit area or car park stay 30m away at all times.

Height limit is 400 feet (121) meters.

The directions of any Club Official and or Safety Officer must be obeyed.

The first person to arrive at the field must setup the basic safety equipment, i.e. the witches hats for pilot box and parking area and the keyboard.
