Our Town Model Show 2004.

Once again, the Our Town Model Show has come and gone. This year we had prime billing, right in the centre of the hall. Unfortunately, the number of models on display was down, with mainly the same models, that you see year in, year out. Here are the few shots that I did get:

  • Centre piece this year was, Dave Chapman's (El Presidente) new Spitfire. Wingspan is a whopping 2.44m. I think it is powered by a 80cc motor. Is that correct Dave? New
  • An impressive shot of the front of the Spitfire. New
  • Ian Todd's Beechcraft Bonanza. The detail in the cockpit is excellent. With the pilatus in front, you would think this was in a real hangar! New
  • A front on view of the Bonanza. New

  • An overview shot of the CAP 232. New
  • A Cessna (can some one fill me in on the details of this model) New
  • Overview of the Cessna. I think this is a World Models, model as well. New

  • A couple of kids enthralled with the Round The Pole display. New
